Department of Anatomy
Anatomy is a major subject of basic sciences. It encompasses not only the Gross Anatomy but has extended its horizon to Microscopic Anatomy (Histology), Developmental Anatomy (Embryology), Applied Anatomy, Molecular Anatomy, Surgical Anatomy and Radiological Anatomy which has generated tremendous interest in Gross Anatomy due to development of new radiological modalities like ultrasound, CT Scan, PET Scan and
MRI.
The anatomy department of IMDC has adopted structured practical evaluation system using the audio-visual aids. This system provides standard criteria for assessment with precision and accuracy. This effort is according to the International standards of modern evaluation.
